Class Description

Maxx Conditioning: This class will offer total body movements and metabolic conditioning. You will increase your overall health, fitness, and wellness, while building muscle, burning fat and gaining better endurance. Our movements are designed to be minimal impact. Exercises include: wall exercises, medicine balls, kettlebells, dumbbells and boxes.

 

Maxx Strength: Maxx Strength classes will consist of 1 hour of concentrated movements working either the upper or lower body. The first half of this class will emphasize large muscle groups with lower repetitions. This is aimed to increase your overall muscular and skeletal strength. The second half of class will focus on accessory work. This accessory work will improve fast twitch muscle fibers and increase your overall muscular endurance. Maxx Strength will conclude with a 5-10 minute cool down to bring your heart rate back down to a normal range.

 

Blast: This high intensity class will keep you moving with high- and low-impact moves using plyo boxes and other bodyweight movements such as burpees, mountain climbers, jumping jacks, and more. H.I.I.T. segment will be followed by 20 minutes of core strengthening exercises to give you a full-body workout.

 

Cardio Kickboxing: Our cardio kickboxing class is a killer weight loss class! It provides improved flexibility, coordination, muscle tone, and bone density, and of course, a boost of confidence!

You can expect to burn up to 600-800 calories in this 60-minute class, as we work with simple punching and kicking techniques specifically blended to achieve a great full-body workout while keeping the heart rate optimal. Cardio kickboxing is easy to follow, yet provides a great workout for people of all fitness levels. You will control the workout based on the power of punches, the height of kicks, the depth of stances, and the speed.

*Body Fusion- Using mini-bands, resistance bands, light weights and core balls; body fusion is a low-impact class focusing on high repetitions of full, small, and isometric movements to achieve a lean and toned physique.

*Totally Tabata: This class is designed to increase your anaerobic and aerobic capacity utilizing interval training consisting of 20 seconds of hard work, with 10 seconds of a rest period. Tabata training is a full body workout that has been scientifically prove to burn 30% more calories than traditional anaerobic/aerobic exercise. It is a FUN class, easy to follow and full of various exercise to keep your body changing!

*Core Fit: This class is designed to strengthen your abdominal core muscles, along with your back muscles for improved posture and flexibility. We will perform a wide variety of exercises and use equipment designed to develop your best CORE!

*Pump it up!: This class is designed to get a FULL BODY STRENGTH WORKOUT helps build LEAN body muscle and increase your fat burning ability. Fun music helps get you motivated, this class is great for ANY fitness level!

*Pilates: This class focuses on developing a longer, leaner, stronger and more graceful body by improving muscular symmetry, alignment, posture, core-strength and flexibility. The class is moderately paced to cultivate strength, flexibility, and balance within a gentle, continuous sequence of postures.

*Core + Mobility: This 45 minute class will help you open and engage tight tissue as well as engage the most important area of the body- the core. Expect to leave with improved mobility, posture and overall body mechanics.

*Boot Camp RX: Bootcamp workouts will consist of both conventional and unconventional strength and conditioning movements. Conventional movements being, deadlifts, front squats, thrusters, running, biking etc. Unconventional movements being, tire flips, tire hammers, battle ropes, etc. This workout is designed to push members mentally and physically through a 1-hour session, of which at least 30 minutes will be high intensity metabolic conditioning.
