Competition Overview
The 2026 edition will feature three primary divisions:
- Men’s Elite Division
- Men’s Open Division
- Women’s Open Division
Schedule & Format
- Thursday, May 14:
Men’s Elite Division begins (evening matches only) - Friday, May 15 – Sunday, May 17:
Full competition across all divisions, with matches beginning as early as 8:00 a.m. - Sunday, May 17:
All matches conclude by 4:00 p.m.
The competition schedule has been intentionally structured to provide a high-quality playing experience while maximizing access to the broader international event taking place alongside the tournament.
International Championship Integration
Running in parallel, the Quad Cities will also host the NACHC Men’s Senior Continental Championship and IHF World Championship Qualifier from May 12–16, 2026.
This unique alignment creates an unprecedented opportunity for players, coaches, and fans to experience both elite club competition and international national team play in a single venue.
- National team matches (Tuesday–Saturday) will be ticketed events
- The U.S. Open schedule has been designed to minimize overlap, allowing participants and attendees to take in both competitions
Teams registering for the U.S. Open will have the option within the Sport80 platform to secure ticket allotments for these international matches as part of their registration.
